“Pocket Meadow” Plans on Schedule at April 16 Information Fair

Join Kelly Green and LandHealth Institute for a schoolyard information fair.

Learn about renewed efforts to revitalize Kelly’s schoolyard and make it a green and healthy environment for the school community and for our urban ecosystem.

Saturday, April 16
3 – 5 p.m.
John B. Kelly School

Event will be held outdoors if weather permits
Free refreshments will be served

Come take a look at ideas for a “pocket meadow” in front of the school! Meadows attract birds and pollinating insects and provide up-close-and-personal experience with nature.

Presentations will be given by special guests including representatives of these groups:

  • The Audubon Society
  • The Tookany-Tacony Frankford Creek Watershed Partnership
  • Friends of the Wissahickon
