The Kelly Green Project and the LandHealth Institute are turning the front yard at the John B. Kelly School into a meadow! We’re going to beautify the school grounds while attracting important birds and butterflies to our community. Come be a part of this exciting project and plant your own seedling in the ground! Everyone is welcome!

Event will be held outdoors if weather permits
Free refreshments will be served
Come take a look at ideas for a “pocket meadow” in front of the school! Meadows attract birds and pollinating insects and provide up-close-and-personal experience with nature.
Presentations will be given by special guests including representatives of these groups:
- The Audubon Society
- The Tookany-Tacony Frankford Creek Watershed Partnership
- Friends of the Wissahickon

The Kelly Green Project is raising money for the construction of a new playground to be used by the community and the school students.
The event will include a silent auction and lively entertainment to kick up your heels, including performances by the John B. Kelly School students and local performing arts groups.
The ticket price ranges from $30 to $60.
